The Smithsonian Institution at the National Museum of African Art in Washington, DC seeks a candidate for a federal role.
Qualified applicants have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11, including planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating digital imaging across the lifecycle to support collections, exhibitions, institutional records, publications, conservation, scholarly research, community consultation, and public access.
The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo. This position is located in The National Museum of African Art (NMAfA), Under Secretary for Museums and Culture, Smithsonian Institution (SI).
Experience:You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Service.
For this position, specialized experience is defined as planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating digital imaging activities across their lifecycle in support of collections, archives, exhibitions, institutional records, publications, conservation, scholarly research, community consultation, and public access.
