  • Experience working with customers, volunteers, and/or employees.
  • Experience working with interactive web applications.
  • Experience creating content for social media platforms specifically, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Persuasive writing skills.
  • Experience reporting project results.

General Summary:

The Digital Giving Officer is a key member of the Leadership Gifts & Development team and will focus on a digital fundraising strategy to enhance and grow the I Am WT brand. This position will also provide first-class experience for all donors by leveraging personalized digital engagement to effectively build relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Digital Fundraising
  • Management of online giving platforms
  • Develop and implement a digital solicitation strategy to utilize social media and/or crowd funding practices.
  • Develop email and social media content for I Am WT brand.
  • Oversee digital ads and social campaigns that support fundraising projects for annual giving solicitations.
  • Analyze performance and key metrics of digital giving campaigns.
  • Stay current on digital giving best practices and maximize the use of data and other resources to make strategic recommendations and implementations.
  • Develop and execute digital stewardship strategies for current donors.
  • Digital Portfolio Management
  • Perform a set number of outbound touchpoints per week to solicit donors to make new gifts, renew or upgrade by promoting philanthropic opportunities and university priorities
  • Cultivate relationships with donors via email, phone, social media, video conferencing
  • Enhance donor acquisition, retention, and stewardship, particularly through personalized digital communications
  • Maintains 100% compliance with timely completion of required System, University and job-specific online training courses.
