Contact Government Services, LLC seeks a Digital Forensic Analyst to focus on preservation and collection of mobile and cloud-stored data, with travel for on-site collection and in-office presence at the main CGS office housing the forensics lab and data center.

The role requires fluency in multiple forensic tools, collaboration across teams, and the ability to develop procedures for discovery in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in digital forensics or CS/engineering
• 1+ year experience in forensic lifecycle, acquisitions, and analysis
• Proficient with EnCase, Cellebrite, Oxygen, FTK Imager, MacQuisition, X1, Logicube
• Solid understanding of Mac/Windows filesystems, devices, and encryption
• Experience preserving desktops, laptops, mobile devices/tablets, servers, cloud/on-prem data forensics
• Strong communication with clients and team members
• Willingness to travel and possible international trips
• Ability to document forensic workflows and procedures
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge growth
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsabilités

• Perform forensic data collection and basic analysis on-site and remote
• Coordinate with legal teams/client IT to define project scope
• Maintain and update forensic toolset and stay current on versions
• Collaborate with PM and team on complex, deadline-driven projects
• Develop and refine procedures to meet discovery requirements
• Manage chain of custody per standard evidence rules
• Adhere to standard operating procedures
• Perform quality checks before delivering to client
• Assist manager with additional IT duties
