Job summary

Abdul for US Senate is seeking Digital Fellows for the 2026 general election in Ann Arbor, MI. Fellows will promote Abdul's message via Students for Abdul on campus social media, host events, and expand student coalitions to drive turnout.

The role focuses on content creation, social media management, and campus engagement, with a part-time schedule and a weekly stipend plan tied to campaign needs.

Qualifications

• Commitment to electing Abdul El-Sayed to the U.S. Senate
• Commitment to thinking creatively about building mass student support behind Abdul's campaign
• Commitment to building a driven and positive community of student fellows and student volunteers
• Strong graphic design, video editing, writing skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to learn new skills and take on new challenges, with a desire to learn and a willingness to ask questions
• Ability to balance between competing priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence
• Personal and professional commitment to promoting cross-cultural skills and awareness
• Familiarity with major social media platforms
• Proficiency with Google Drive and Sheets/Excel

Responsibilities

• Lead creative concepting and scheduling for video and social media content
• Draft and edit video content for social media including Instagram and TikTok
• Create graphics and other multimedia content
• Wherever possible, attend campaign events to capture content and make live posts
• Assist with organizing campuses and communities through tabling, event staffing, and canvassing
• Work with students to engage content on various platforms
• Other campaign needs as required
