Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. seeks a Digital Drug Product Development Senior Research Associate to advance formulations and scalable manufacturing processes.

The role combines CFD-based modeling, digital twin development, and mechanistic process insight to drive robust drug product development across early to late stages. You will lead experimental design, data analytics, and collaborations for cross-functional teams, with opportunities for occasional travel and up to 20% remote

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biotechnology or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience constructing 3D geometric models in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• CFD simulations (M Star CFD) to model mixing, filtration, hydrodynamics, and scale effects.
• Programming in Python and R for simulations, parameter estimation, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust drug product formulations across the lifecycle and transfer technology to manufacturing.
• Lead CFD-based modeling and digital twin initiatives to understand mixing and scale-up risks.
• Provide technical leadership, write protocols, run experiments, and generate technical reports.
• Support regulatory submissions with data, models, and CMC input; collaborate across projects.
