Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Scientific Product Owner to define, deliver, and optimize digital products that enable research workflows, data integration, transparency, and scientific decision‑making. You will translate scientific needs into technical requirements, own the Research Control Tower for portfolio oversight, and drive agile delivery while ensuring data governance, security, and quality.

Role:

Scientific Product Owner supporting Takeda’s Nonclinical Safety, Pharmacology, Drug Discovery Units (DDUs), and Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) R&D.

Objectives:

define, deliver, and optimize digital products enabling research workflows, data integration, transparency, and scientific decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• develop product strategy and roadmaps
• translate scientific needs into technical requirements
• own the Research Control Tower for integrated portfolio oversight
• manage agile delivery cycles
• collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders
• ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards
• leverage analytics, AI/ML, and GenAI capabilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, computer science, or related
• 6+ years in pharma, biotech, or research technology, with experience managing digital research tools or platforms
• strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

• advanced degrees (Master’s, PhD)
• experience with regulatory submissions
