Job summary

PLUS Communications in Arlington, Virginia hires a Director to lead our digital practice for advocacy campaigns and organizations. You will translate leadership direction into effective digital campaigns and serve as the main client contact, overseeing content, delivery, and performance across multiple accounts.

PLUS Communications is seeking a creative and hard-working Director to join our fast-growing digital practice to help top-tier advocacy campaigns and organizations win, every day.

Responsibilities will include:

• Execute digital strategies for public affairs clients, translating senior leadership direction into effective campaigns
• Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables
• Manage multiple client accounts, overseeing content, campaign execution, and performance tracking
• Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and ensuring strong team output
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Design and Digital Advertising, to develop and launch campaign assets
• Draft and edit client-facing materials, including content, reports, and presentations

Requirements

• 4-6 years experience
• Previous experience working at an agency is preferred
• Exceptional writing ability
• Proven track-record drafting creative and effective content for digital channels
• Experience using digital/social media tools for issue advocacy and public affairs campaigns
• Ability to hit tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests and projects
• Meticulous attention to detail
