Job summary

Birkenstock USA, LP in New York is seeking a Digital Designer to produce on-brand content that blends creativity, functionality and technology across Digital channels. This role reports to the Digital Art Director and is based in NYC with a hybrid schedule.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of graphic design experience, 2+ years in digital design, and strong proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PremierePro, After Effects, Acrobat and Figma. A Bachelor’s degree in Design is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of graphic design with at least 2 years in digital design.
• Proficiency with design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PremierePro, After Effects & Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of Figma.
• Strong photo layout and typography with elevated aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Digital Creative team to create compelling visual assets across all digital channels: Organic Social, Web, Email & Paid Social.
• Image retouching/color correction.
• Motion graphics creation and video editing.
• Present strategic creative solutions to meet brand objectives and revenue goals.
• Stay current with digital design trends and introduce new ideas to evolve our brands' digital platforms.
• Develop digital & mobile-first mockups for presenting to senior management and the team.
• Collaborate with the Novato Marketing Team and NY Digital Team on all digital projects.
• Comfortable working creatively within site platform design templates.
