General Summary & Scope

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Designer for a 3-month contract to support our premier Beauty client’s email and mobile marketing creative. This designer will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Design, as well as teams across E-commerce, Email Marketing, Editorial, Integrated Marketing, and CRM/Loyalty to help evolve and innovate our digital footprint.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for consistency, typography, and detail, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, visually appealing designs. This role requires excellent organization, communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Design email and mobile marketing assets within established templates for promotional, triggered, transactional, loyalty, and grand opening campaigns with an emphasis on personalization.
• Ensure brand cohesion across campaign touchpoints by partnering with the Site, Social, and Email teams.
• Collaborate with Email Developers by providing assets, direction, and specifications for accurate implementation.
• Apply the Beauty brand’s identity, visual style, and voice to every piece of communication, maintaining consistency throughout all creative assets.
• Manage projects from concept to completion — including design, messaging alignment, testing, and quality assurance to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Demonstrate superior attention to detail, organization, and time management across multiple concurrent projects.
• Consistently adhere to brand guidelines and style guides while offering fresh and innovative creative solutions.
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities, supporting evolving business needs and objectives.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in digital design for marketing, advertising, or related fields.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Working knowledge of Sketch or Figma.
• Intermediate familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
• Experience with After Effects or motion design a plus.
• Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or beauty industry environments preferred.
