Job summary

Apple Inc. in Austin, Texas seeks a Digital Design Engineer Lead in the Custom Silicon Management group to drive the development of next-generation devices. You will oversee architecture, verification, emulation and validation of custom silicon while coordinating with silicon suppliers.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, bug-free silicon that meets Apple standards and ambitious schedules. Experience with audio/power interfaces is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with FPGA emulation, silicon bring-up, characterization or debug.
• Ability to lead technical engagements between Apple and external vendors.

Apple is looking for remarkable Audio and Mixed Signal Digital Design Engineers to work with multi-functional teams and external vendors to define, develop and productize the next generation of devices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with FPGA emulation, silicon bring-up, characterization or debug.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant industry experience.
• Experience with audio and power standards such as MIPI, Soundwire, I2S and SPMI.
• Experience in the design of audio amplifier, codec and/or power converters.
