HDR, Inc. is seeking a Digital Delivery Lead for Transportation in the Washington, DC region.

You will lead area digital delivery strategy, support pursuit and project planning, and serve as a hands-on BIM and digital delivery leader for large transportation programs. The role blends strategy, delivery, and people leadership, partnering with project managers and technical teams to standardize workflows, grow capabilities, and deliver data-rich project outcomes in a collaborative, employee-owned

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) experience.
Minimum 5 years digital delivery (model management) experience.
Thorough understanding of building systems and discipline coordination.
Advanced skills in 3D design software and document management infra.
Experience with CDE workflows and ISO 19650 principles.

Responsibilities

Lead the Area Transportation digital delivery practice by setting strategy and driving adoption.
Define BIM scope, fees, and execution plans across disciplines and partners.
Act as BIM/digital delivery lead on major projects and mentor other leads.
Standardize BIM, CDE, QA/QC, and model governance practices.
Grow a network of digital design leads and BIM managers with clear expectations.
Integrate advanced BIM uses (3D coordination, 4D/5D, digital twins) into delivery.
Align with leadership to ensure consistent standards and scalable adoption.
