Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders with speed and accuracy, creating a smooth and reliable pickup experience. You will greet customers, handle payments, and coordinate with store leadership to resolve issues, ensuring a friendly, efficient carside service.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of retail experience, strong communication, and detail orientation. Training will cover Meijer Pickup processes, safety, and customer-first standards to maintain curbside

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Past retail experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• As a Digital Clerk, you’ll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.
• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
• In short: you’ll turn online orders into easy, reliable, “right-on-time” pickups.
