The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, experience with AI tools in marketing workflows, and a focus on driving engagement and revenue through digital copy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Digital Marketing or related field preferred.
• Proficient in writing and experience using AI tools in a writing or marketing workflow.

Responsibilities

• Write and proof email, SMS and push copy for campaigns, meeting character limits, compliance rules and brand voice.
• Write, audit and refresh copy for automated messaging to maximize open rates and revenue.
• Support campaign copy across platforms, adapting messaging to each channel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging speaks to each customer persona.
• Champion AI and other technologies to speed up and scale writing workflows.
• Build and maintain a workflow turning briefs into channel-ready copy for email, SMS, push, social and YouTube.
• Establish proofing checkpoints in AI workflows for accuracy and compliance.
• Research and implement SEO and AEO trends to grow Scheels’ presence in search platforms.
• Write YouTube descriptions using SEO/AEO best practices.
