Bethesda Magazine is seeking a highly organized digital producer to support daily operations across digital, print, email, and social channels. You will manage newsletters, website formatting, and content publishing while adhering to style guidelines and pursuing opportunities to enhance presentation and audience reach.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a fast-paced newsroom or digital publishing environment, with strong HTML/CMS skills, graphic design ability, and multitasking

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a fast-paced newsroom or digital publishing.
• Proficiency in HTML and CMS tools; experience with ActiveCampaign is a must.
• Strong graphic design ability with Canva or Photoshop.
• Ability to multitask and balance priorities.
• Clear communication and problem-solving mindset.
• Editorial experience and proofreading a plus; video editing is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Build e-newsletters and alerts for daily and weekly delivery.
• Upload and format print issues of Bethesda Magazine on website.
• Manage website edits and Best of Bethesda voting.
• Build and publish multiple articles daily meeting web, image, SEO, and style standards.
• Write/edit web content as needed.
• Build and edit listings on online directories.
• Monitor newsroom content for best image/SEO/web practices.
• Report on platform analytics to inform content and audience strategies.
• Manage social media across platforms via third-party tools and major networks.
