Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Digital Content Producer to oversee daily production across digital platforms. This role includes responsibilities such as content creation, adherence to copyright guidelines, and collaboration with executive management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong news judgment, excellent writing skills, and a good understanding of social media dynamics. A journalism degree is preferred, along with prior experience in a newsroom setting.

NTV has an immediate opening for a Digital Content Producer! In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day production on our digital platforms. This position will also work closely with the Executive Producer. You will find, write, publish content, stay current on company trademark/copyright guidelines, and work with management to achieve branding and revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Solid news judgment
• An ability to write clean, compelling, accurate copy
• Headline writing
• A comfort with multitasking/time management
• An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• An interest in being coachable and learning how to lead
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail is critical
• The passion to deliver on digital metrics goals every day
• Experience editing video and still photos
• Knowledge of posting to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter
• Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, SEO
• Prior TV newsroom experience is preferred, although the right entry-level candidate may be considered
• A Journalism or related degree is preferred
