Job summary
WKOW-TV 27 ABC in Madison, WI is seeking a Digital Content Producer to craft and edit content across our website, app and social media channels. You will collaborate with the Digital Content Manager and News Director to ensure timely, accurate, and engaging digital coverage.
The ideal candidate has strong writing ability with AP style, familiarity with social media best practices, and basic video editing skills.

Responsibilities
- Write and copy edit breaking news, daily news and sports for the station's website, mobile app and social pages.
- Curate the station's homepage with the latest news stories.
- Manage livestreams on the station's website.
- Produce digital-only content, including newscasts that livestream on wkow.com.
- Clip relevant video from broadcasts and attach to news articles and social pages.
- Send push alerts for important news, weather and sports articles.
- Basic news gathering skills, including calls on breaking news.
- Use digital platforms to reinforce brand and drive viewers to television.
- Contribute ideas to help grow the station's digital platforms.

WKOW 27 News in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin is hiring a Digital Content Producer.
Digital Content Producers in our newsroom create and edit content on multiple platforms, including our website, social media pages and news app. They work closely with the Digital Content Manager and News Director to ensure we are breaking news on our digital platforms and leading the way with the most accurate and compelling coverage.
Responsibilities Include:
- -Write and copy edit breaking news, daily news and sports stories for the station's website, mobile app and social media pages

Requirements:
