Job summary

Qualifications

Job Summary/Description:

The Digital Content Producer helps the team with writing web stories, managing station-branded social media accounts, and contributing content to our streaming platforms. Ability to be on camera and ad-lib breaking news is a plus.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Works with the digital content manager on strategic vision for the digital department and platforms including WAFF.com, WAFF's social media pages, YouTube and digital streaming channels
• Focused on a Digital First News Strategy including writing web stories, app pushes, livestreams and social media content
• Cross-departmental collaboration and willingness to work in a team environment
• Schedule could involve working nights, weekends, and/or holidays

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in journalism, broadcast media, or related field
