Job summary

evo is seeking a Digital Content Editor to own publication of product detail pages and supporting content. You’ll work with Merchandising and Digital teams to ensure accurate, on-brand pages, guides, and landing content that enhance the evo catalog and overall site experience.

You will manage a small team of copywriters, emphasize SEO-driven copy, and drive improvements in content workflows while collaborating with customer care and merchandising to maintain high-quality product information.

Qualifications

  • Experience with online content management for digital platforms (PIM and/or CMS).
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of SEO and ecommerce content best practices.
  • Knowledge of evo product catalog and category storytelling.
  • Ability to collaborate with Merchandising, Digital and Customer Care teams.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and publish product pages that are on-brand and SEO-friendly.
  • Lead a small copywriting team, prioritizing go-to-market goals.
  • Coordinate with Merchandising and Digital teams to ensure accurate product information.
  • Improve site navigation and content presentation for better customer experience.
  • Streamline day-to-day content workflows for efficiency.
  • Ensure clear, concise copy across the site and maintain content quality.

The Job

The Digital Content Editor is a product specialist, responsible for the production, quality control and go-live of product-related digital content, supporting the business with a deep understanding and first-hand knowledge of the evo catalog. This role partners with the Merchandising and Digital teams to primarily publish product detail pages, but also creates and evolves page content which supports product across the site, including guides, landing pages, site scheduling and reviews.

The Opportunity
  • Write, edit, and publish technical customer facing product pages that are on-brand, search optimized, convey expertise, inform, and differentiate evo from the competition.
  • Manage a small team of copywriters, staying on top of priorities and go-to-market goals.
  • Strong eye for SEO and how it affects the final product.
  • Manage the relationship between the product detail page and site navigation – always on the lookout for ways to improve the customer experience and provide the most relevant information in the clearest way.
  • Always looking for ways to improve efficiencies in day-to-day workflow.
  • Ensure clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy is used across the website.
  • Close collaboration with merchandising, digital and customer care teams.
  • Always looking to improve the quality of product information – not afraid to pitch new ideas.
  • Drive content credibility by leveraging firsthand gear knowledge and expertise across evo’s core categories.
  • Schedule site creative in a timely and efficient manner, all while balancing core product duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The base wage for this role ranges from $26.00/hr - $28.0/hr. Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
