Job summary

They seek an Associate to deliver project workstreams, manage plans, and mentor junior staff while using Huron tools and best practices for enterprise software and analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in requirements analysis, testing, and documentation, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, testing, troubleshooting and interfacing with business users.
• 2+ years' experience with HFM, FCCS, and/or FDMEE.
• Understanding of the financial close cycle and best practices.
• Experience with foreign currency translation and consolidated financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project work streams, manage work plans and coordinate analytics and reporting.
• Interface with client staff and leadership while mentoring junior staff.
• Translate meeting outcomes into actionable documentation for project teams.
• Travel up to 50% as needed to work with clients or internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience


• 2-4 years of experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users


• 2+ years' experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (FCCS), and/or Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE)


• Understanding of the financial close cycle and related best practices


• Understanding of joint ventures, direct and indirect ownership structures, and equity pickup


• Experience with foreign currency translation and the effect of currency translation on the financial statements


• Experience creating consolidated financial statements for public and private companies


• Financial management reporting and analysis experience, preferably with Financial Reporting Studio


• Experience with account reconciliation a plus, preferably with Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM), Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), or similar applications such as Blackline


• Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams


• Effective oral and written communication skills


• Ability to own project workstreams through self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks with little to no supervision


• A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies


• Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset


• Aptitude for, and enjoyment of working in teams


• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to work with client or other internal project teams

The estimated base salary range for this job is $105,000-$130,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $117,600-$153,400. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
