Job summary

The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center is seeking a Communications Coordinator to manage digital channels, including social media, emails, and the district website, to inform and engage stakeholders. The role emphasizes strong public speaking and independent project work.

Required is a BA/BS in communications or related field (preferred) and 3–5 years in marketing, communications, or digital media. This on-site role supports district-wide communications and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or digital communications preferred.
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with graphic design tools and CMS.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the district website with WCAG compliance.
• Support marketing and recruitment across channels (digital, print, social, ads).
• Build and maintain an image bank for events and activities for web, print, and social pieces.
• Create, schedule, post, and monitor content on district social channels and digital platforms.
• Provide regular reports on social and digital media performance against goals.
• Coordinate printing and mailing of district publications.
• Assist in district events promotions and archival media management.
