Job summary

Cape Coral Charter School Authority (CCCSA) seeks a Media Coordinator to manage Oasis Charter Schools’ website content and support digital communications, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and updated across four campuses.

The role also maintains book and media inventories, reviews materials for age appropriateness per Florida DOE guidelines, trains staff on CMS, accessibility practices, and media procedures, and protects student information in compliance with laws.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with 60 college credits or paraprofessional certification.
• General knowledge of report and recordkeeping principles and techniques.
• Ability to learn ADA/WCAG accessibility practices quickly.

Responsibilities

• Posts, reviews, and updates website content for CCCSA and Oasis Charter Schools with accuracy and timely publication.
• Reviews and corrects website content for accessibility, including alt text, headings, color contrast, links, and captions.
• Creates, converts, or remediates PDFs and other documents to accessible formats.
• Maintains inventories of books and media across four schools and screens materials for age appropriateness.
• Monitors school social media accounts per posting expectations and procedures.
• Trains staff on website content updates, accessibility practices, and media procedures.
• Keeps logs and calendars for updates, deadlines, and approvals; assists with back-up duties as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with student information laws.
