Welcome to ATX Learning

Oasis Charter Schools is a municipal charter school system that is sponsored by the School District of Lee County, fiscally managed by the City of Cape Coral, and supported by the Cape Coral Charter School Authority Governing Board. The District is our charter sponsor and together we share strictly enforced Florida Department of Education curriculum standards, and uphold State of Florida educator professional development and training. The City of Cape Coral is our municipal partner. Oasis and City departments combine key financial services, ITS teams, and human resources personnel to create an efficient and impactful community ecosystem. The Cape Coral Charter School Authority Governing Board approves policies and student-related initiatives. The Board is comprised of seven voting members who are appointed to 2-year terms by the Cape Coral City Council, and four non-voting parent representatives appointed by their school parent organizations.

We believe that everyone can succeed in a nurturing and secure learning environment that is supported by diverse and meaningful community partnerships.

Our schools offer a beautiful and safe environment that inspires learning, but we also know that we need the support of our entire community. Our students need loving parents who nourish them and send them to school ready to learn, who value education and help them with their schoolwork. In the spirit of cooperation, our schools welcome parents and families to actively become involved in school programs and activities, and require families to volunteer and partner to assist our mission.

Our teachers are caring, qualified, and committed to excellence in classroom instruction. They establish and honor positive relationships with their students. Our administrators lead with student achievement and student welfare at the heart of each decision they make. Our support staff all work hand-in-hand to meet the needs of each student, and ensure success for all.

While academic success and superior test scores are critical to our schools, our vision embraces much more: our schools are places where children are happy and excited to learn. Furthermore, our curriculum and teachers challenge students to not only think critically, but to use common sense in their lives; our students learn values, and value service to others; our students feel free to imagine, to create, and to shape their interests and talents for future careers.

Oasis Charter Schools are Four Schools, One Vision. Start HERE. Go EVERYWHERE

Our mission is to create a K-12 system that educates students to be responsible, critical thinkers who are prepared to successfully compete in a dynamic, global workforce.

Between the classroom teacher and the students that model the qualities of good character, and allow collaboration throughout the learning process to achieve academic success, and celebrate accomplishments together.

Between the parents and school personnel that promotes open communication, encourages a sense of teamwork and cooperation, and develops the concept of true community support of education.

Between colleagues, in order to establish a school learning community that applies proven effective classroom learning strategies and management practices that increase student achievement, and creates a positive collegial atmosphere.

Among students so that all feel safe, comfortable, and accepted, and where students encourage each other, work and play with each other, and support each other's interests and learning.

Between administrators and teachers, where professionalism and personal integrity promotes shared decision-making, empowerment, and the uplifting of staff as they undertake the most important mission of all: creating successful students.

The schools in the Cape Coral Charter School System believe:

ENVIRONMENT

Our schools create a unique environment and community atmosphere where accountability, integrity, and collaboration is valued, and diverse perspectives are encouraged to promote overall student success.

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

We believe student achievement is the result of high staff expectations, quality lessons, challenging curricula and differentiation in teaching and learning.

Our schools will teach knowledge and cultural literacy within a rigorous curriculum that is relevant to student's needs and stimulates their natural curiosity, imagination, and critical thinking skills.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

By developing meaningful partnerships in our communities, we enrich our students' academic and socio-emotional well being which validates our reputation as a high performing school of choice.
