Albemarle seeks a Digital Business Partner for Human Resources in Charlotte, NC, for a hybrid role that bridges business and IT strategy. You will translate HR and business goals into technology roadmaps and value-realization plans, guiding investments and outcomes across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with HR leadership, Change, and Transformation teams to ensure adoption, measure ROI, and report portfolio value to executives while advancing digital capabilities across the workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Digitization or related field.
• 8+ years in IT Business Partner, Digital Transformation, Consulting, or Product roles.
• Experience with executive stakeholders and business case development.
• Strong understanding of ERP, data, integration, cloud, and AI.

The DBP plays a critical role in advancing digital, data, AI, and automation capabilities across the enterprise.Technology Business Partners align technology capabilities to business priorities, drive adoption of new digital capabilities, and help ensure technology initiatives deliver measurable outcomes.What You Will DoStrategy AlignmentParticipate in business strategy, OKR, and annual planning processes (AOP / LRP)Translate functional strategy into multi-year technology and capability roadmapsIdentify digital, data, AI, and automation opportunities that improve performance and cost positionServe as strategic advisor to functional leadership on technology trends and opportunitiesDBPs typically collaborate with functional leaders to understand strategy and develop aligned technology roadmaps.Demand Shaping & PrioritizationShape demand before intake through early problem framing and value qualificationFacilitate prioritization using value, risk, and capacity trade-offsTranslate business needs into technology investment priorities and solution directionPartner with Architecture, Product, and Delivery to ensure solution fit and scalabilityDemand management and translating business needs into technology priorities are core DBP responsibilities.Value Articulation & RealizationLead business case development and ROI modelingDefine measurable success metrics prior to funding approvalTrack value realization post-deployment and drive corrective actions where neededProvide portfolio transparency and value reporting to functional leadershipDBPs are expected to quantify value and ensure technology initiatives deliver measurable outcomes.Executive PartnershipMaintain strong executive relationships within assigned functionsAct as primary liaison between business and IT leadershipProvide insight, best practices, and perspective in leadership decision forumsPartner with Change, HR, and Transformation teams to drive adoption and business outcomesDBPs serve as the primary bridge between business units and IT and build trusted stakeholder relationships.Roadmap Creation & Co-OwnershipCo-create and co-own annual and multi-year technology roadmaps with business leadersConnect roadmap investments to strategy, demand signals, and value realization outcomesSupport portfolio reviews and investment governance forumsEnsure roadmap alignment with enterprise architecture and platform strategiesDBPs commonly co-develop multi-year roadmaps and align them to enterprise strategy and architecture.Human Resources & Communications Domain Responsibility SummaryResponsible for enabling and supporting technology capabilities across Human Resources, Global Communications, and External Affairs.
