Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Digital Product group within Consumer & Business Banking. The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and ad hoc analysis to drive smarter financial decisions.

The analyst will partner with leaders, developers, project managers, and other business partners on digital initiatives and capital projects, delivering insights and improvements across multiple digital orgs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically six or more years of related experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities.
• Experience with Essbase or Hyperion and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Support P&L activities with focus on expense management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis.
• Provide financial analysis for capital expenditures, staffing, and ad hoc requests.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities; translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with leaders and present results to senior management.
• Improve reporting accuracy, forecasting and processes using financial systems and datasets.
• Assist with pricing and forecasting information for assets and liabilities as needed.
• Participate in projects and occasionally lead project work.
