Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Portfolio Manager I for its Digital Assets Group in CityScape. You will analyze, structure, underwrite, and onboard Blockchain and Digital Asset Business Deposit Accounts, ensuring compliance with bank policies and federal regulations.

You will coordinate with Relationship Managers and senior management to present financing requests, monitor deposit risks, and support regional goals with underwriting excellence and client service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of portfolio management or similar banking experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with commercial banking portfolio management is highly preferred.
• Experience with KYC is preferred.
• Experience with digital assets is preferred.
• Knowledge of banking operations, regulatory obligations, credit, and pricing dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to assess credit needs and determine optimal structure.
• Present financing requests to senior management or Loan Committee for approval.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans and ensure adherence to policies.
• Provide superior customer service and proactive follow-up with clients.
• Handle underwriting, portfolio management, and related tasks for new and existing portfolios.
