Job summary

Guidehouse is actively growing its Digital Assets capability and seeks an Associate Director to lead technology advisory and delivery for digital asset initiatives at banks and fintechs. You will own solution architecture, platform selection, and end-to-end execution across DLT platforms, working directly with senior client stakeholders.

• 7–10+ years in FinTech, Banking, Capital Markets or related roles.
• Experience delivering blockchain or DLT platforms in regulated financial institutions.
• Proven ability to lead buy-vs-build decisions and vendor evaluations.
• Deep knowledge of institutional wallet custody models (MPC/HSM).
• Experience integrating fiat on/off ramps, payments rails, and tokenization engines.

What You Will Do

Guidehouse is executing an ambitious growth strategy for its Digital Assets capability. We are seeking an Associate Director to lead technology advisory and delivery for Digital Asset initiatives at banks and fintechs. As an Associate Director, you will own solution architecture, platform selection, and end-to-end execution across DLT-based platforms, working directly with senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Engagement Leadership: Oversee delivery of client engagements and advise on building blockchain product and infrastructure
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with leadership on development and execution of strategic growth and new client acquisition by building and maintaining partner relationships with digital asset and traditional financial institutions
• Cross-Practice Collaboration: Partner with Guidehouse specialty and non-specialty practices to cross-sell relevant services and solutions
• Talent Development: Mentor and develop team members, while recruiting new talent to support this strategic growth initiative
• Thought Leadership: Collaborate across practices to develop intellectual property and contribute to industry-leading insights
• Executive Engagement: Manage senior-level relationships and align Digital Assets solutions to client needs, driving revenue and profitability

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree
• 7-10+ years of experience in FinTech, Banking Treasury, Capital Markets, or related financial and/or product roles
• Experience delivering blockchain or DLT platforms within regulated financial institutions (banks, custodians, broker‑dealers, market infrastructure providers)
• Proven experience leading buy‑vs‑build decisions and vendor evaluations and the ability to assess technical architecture, control models, roadmaps, and total cost of ownership
• Deep knowledge of institutional wallet & custody models, including MPC‑based and/or HSM‑based architectures
• Experience integrating fiat on/off ramps, payment rails, exchanges, custodians, and liquidity providers
• Experience with tokenization engines supporting issuance, transfer, and lifecycle management of tokenized assets
• Smart contracts (design, deployment, governance)
• Integration with core banking systems, ledgers, or treasury platforms
• Experience connecting to public and/or permissioned blockchain networks with understanding of node strategy, validator participation, and operational support models

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Master's degree
• Background in technology consulting, financial services engineering, or platform architecture
• Experience working with banks, capital markets firms, fintechs, or digital asset platforms
• Payments orchestration (on-chain/off-chain flows)
• Treasury and payments operations

The annual salary range for this position is $162,000.00-$270,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
