Job summary

Flagstaff Water Services is seeking a Digital Asset Program Manager to lead the city’s digital transformation of water operations. You will leverage geospatial technologies, CMMS, and field work to improve data management and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include managing GIS data, CMMS, and security, coordinating with IT, vendors, and end users, and guiding projects from planning through implementation.

Qualifications

• Four (4) year degree in Geospatial Technologies, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Five (5) years of related on-the-job experience.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience, if applicable.
• Or any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the above Minimum Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Oversees Digital Asset program services personnel by providing direction in daily work activities and assignments; tracks project status and budgeting.
• Acts as a Water Services Division liaison with the IT Section’s GIS Manager and Help Desk personnel.
• Manages Digital Asset Management and Water Services geospatial data management projects, delivering workflow documentation, data requirements, and testing scenarios.
• Develops data collection and evaluation methodologies, formats, project criteria, and data usage.
• Educates and trains on proper data collection processes.
• Participates in research and coordination to determine operational and budgetary needs.
• Identifies emerging technologies and recommends improvements for Water Services.
