Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in the North America region seeks a senior risk leader to serve as Custody Risk & Control, Digital Assets Senior Manager, with global accountability spanning Digital Asset Custody and Liquidity Management Services.

You will advise senior leadership, shape the risk and compliance framework, lead a high-performing team, and partner with Product, Operations, Technology, and Legal to safeguard Citi's custody risk posture across markets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in first-line risk management, operations, or risk within a large financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of Securities Services risk profiles and controls.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in maintaining a robust RCSA program and aligning with policy standards.
• Experience coordinating regulatory examinations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to clearly communicate risk concepts to executives and boards.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive risk management framework for the North America Custody cluster, with global accountability for Digital Asset Custody and Liquidity Management Services.
• Serve as primary first-line risk contact for NA Custody, Digital Asset Custody, and Liquidity initiatives, evaluating new products from a risk perspective before launch.
• Conduct regular risk assessments across the North America cluster and partner with Product, Operations, and Technology to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Manage the Risk and Control Self-Assessment program and verify control effectiveness.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations, internal audits, and remediation with regulators including NYDFS, OCC, SEC, and MAS.
• Report risk posture to senior leadership with clear presentations for executives and boards.
• Build and mentor a high-performing risk and compliance team.
• Partner with stakeholders to align custody risk management with enterprise objectives.
