Job summary

The National WWII Museum is seeking an Application and Automation Engineer to support, maintain, integrate, and improve the Museum’s business applications, focusing on the Digital Asset Management platform and related workflows.

You will handle integrations, automate processes, and support data reporting with tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and APIs, while working with both business users and IT teams to ensure secure, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application support, systems or automation roles.
• Experience supporting business applications in production environments.
• Knowledge of configuration, permissions, user access, workflows, data imports/exports, and vendor support.
• Experience with automation, scripting, APIs, reporting tools, or low-code/no-code tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot across users, data, integrations, and vendor platforms.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IT’s primary technical resource for the DAM platform and related business applications.
• Support configuration, workflows, user access, metadata processes, reports, and operational needs.
• Troubleshoot issues, access problems, data inconsistencies, and integration failures.
• Translate business needs into actionable technical tasks and vendor requests.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity and infrastructure on access controls and authentication.
