Nycarchivists is seeking a Digital Archivist based in New York City to manage and enhance digital archives. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining stability and security of files, overseeing digitization projects, and ensuring compliance with preservation standards.

The ideal applicant will hold a Master's degree in Information Science and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite is essential, with French language skills preferred. Qualifications

• Must be able to move heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the digital archives.

• Identify physical collections for digitization.
• Oversee digitization projects with vendors.
• Quality control and rename digital files as needed.
