Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a hands-on Digital Applications Manager to lead our Applications support team in a hybrid Cary, NC setting. You will ensure the applications behind design and construction—Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Forma, and IMAGINiT Clarity—are reliable, well-supported, and continuously improving for project teams.

You will mentor staff, define workflows, manage vendor relationships, and drive adoption of standard digital delivery practices across offices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in design applications support within multidisciplinary firms.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of specialists.
• Ability to define and roll out standardized processes across distributed orgs.
• Strong understanding of design-construction workflows and BIM practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate with designers, engineers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage an application support team delivering day-to-day help.
• Own admin for core design apps (Revit, Forma, Clarity) and related tools.
• Define and improve digital delivery workflows and best practices.
• Streamline configuration, deployment, and usage to reduce rework.
• Escalate complex issues and coordinate with vendors and IT staff.
• Develop standards, templates, and content libraries for delivery.
• Partner with leads to pilot new tools and workflow improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships, licenses, and roadmap alignment.
• Create training and onboarding materials for staff.
• Track performance and adoption, report impact, prioritize work.
• Plan workload and staffing to meet project demands.
