Job summary

NEOMED is seeking a Digital Accessibility Coordinator to collaborate with faculty and staff in making teaching materials and environments accessible, flexible, and engaging for all learners.

You will partner across the university to design, support, and improve accessible course materials, fostering universal design for learning in alignment with WCAG and ADA standards. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education, digital communications, or related field.
• Proven ability to create digitally accessible and compliant content per WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and ADA Section 508.
• Experience delivering technical training to professional audiences.
• Experience supporting LMS digital accessibility platforms and assistive technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty and staff to make courses accessible and compliant with WCAG and ADA standards.
• Coordinate resources and projects within the Institute for Teaching Excellence.
• Provide technical support and administration for systems under the ITE purview.
• Design and deliver training and workshops on accessibility practices.
