AccessAbility Officer hires individuals living with disabilities, including those who are blind, because we choose to lead by example in achieving our big vision. The U.S. disabled unemployment rate is the same as the U.S. unemployment rate.

Dedicated to white-glove service and an unrelenting customer-centric attitude, you will be working with AccessAbility Officer clients across each stage of a project, from kickoff to delivery and beyond.

Specifically, The Digital Accessibility Analyst & Project Manager leads a team of testers responsible for the delivery of digital accessibility services for our clients, including testing, reporting, remediation guidance, training, and consulting.

**This role works directly with people with severe physical disabilities, providing assistance when needed to overcome related challenges or obstacles. Problem-solving, empathy, and willingness to go the extra mile are required to be successful in this role.

• Manual and automated accessibility testing, reporting, and remediation guidance against WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines for websites, web applications, desktop applications, mobile applications, electronic documents, and other digital assets
• Use of NVDA, JAWS, and DARTSuite for accessibility testing, reporting, and remediation guidance against WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines
• Bringing customers smiles and staying positive as you exceed expectations delivering world-class accessibility services across multiple projects, deadlines, with both internal and external teams
• Bringing your special creativity, problem-solving, value-adding mindset to our team and our customers so we can grow and get better together.
• Perform other duties as needed and defined.

Required skills, experience, and education/credentials:

·2+ years’ experience of using screen readers to find compliance violations. Seriously, this is a big deal – that you have SR skills buttoned up.

·1+ years’ experience in project management. Because you’re going to be doing that…

·Department of Homeland Security Trusted Tester or Certified AccessAbility Tester 2.2. Gotta have ‘em.

· Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team, with minimal guidance. Meaning, you need to have urgency, be a self-starter, and show your team some love.

· Understanding of common accessibility barriers people with hearing, physical, speech, cognitive, and vision disabilities experience. You need to know the basics so you can find the devil in the details.

Preferred skills, experience, and education/credentials:

4+ years’ experience in the digital accessibility field. That would be great!

Front end development experience. Again, this would be awesome.

Experience using AI and artificial intelligence applications. This is almost mandatory in 2025… Seriously.

This role is fully remote but individuals must be located in the United States

You will be required to demonstrate NVDA or JAWS screen reader skills if selected for an interview.

You will be required to demonstrate your technical accessibility knowledge and skills if selected for an interview.

We use AI tools internally. Individuals skilled at using artificial intelligence to maximize productivity and performance is desired.

• Compensation is $50 per hour with quarterly bonuses paid based on performance.
