Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Diffusion Operations Shift Supervisor to lead a 10-15 technician team on the diffusion area. You will drive safety, quality and productivity while coaching engineers and technicians to excel in a high-volume fab.

The role requires strong knowledge of diffusion processes, maintenance experience, and the ability to improve SOPs and OCAPs across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• 5+ years of semiconductor experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of diffusion, TEL/KE furnace, AMAT EPI and/or CVD equipment.
• Experience supporting equipment maintenance and process development.
• Ability to sustain and improve operational documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10-15 diffusion technicians across shift operations.
• Coordinate daily workloads and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Respond to out-of-control conditions to protect production quality.
• Develop and improve SOPs, OCAPs and OCAP-related actions.
• Supervise troubleshooting for electrical, pneumatic and mechanical issues.
