Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Diffusion Operations Shift Supervisor to lead a team of 10-15 technicians and ensure production goals, quality, and safety on the fab floor. You will develop your team's skills, coordinate daily workload, and drive continuous improvement in process documentation and equipment performance while upholding SOPs and OCAPs.

The role requires a technically strong background in semiconductor Diffusion processes, with 5+ years of experience in high-volume

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; technical degree or equivalent military technical experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years of semiconductor experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is highly desired.
• Knowledge of Diffusion, TEL/KE Furnace, AMAT EPI and/or CVD process and equipment preferred.
• Experience supporting equipment maintenance
• Experience supporting process development and sustaining

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of 10-15 Diffusion technicians
• Coordinate and lead team meetings and daily workload/sustaining activities in the fab
• Ensure timely response to out-of-control or out-of-spec conditions to minimize impact to production and quality
• Monitor equipment status and technician response to meet availability goals
• Lead development, review and improvement of operational/technical documentation to drive efficiency
• Ensure SOPs, OCAPs, and related plans are utilized for safe, efficient operations
• Supervise electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting to determine best corrective action
