Job summary

Weller Truck Parts is a remanufacturer of transmissions, differentials, steering gears, electronics, mechatronics, driveshafts, and heavy-duty truck parts. The Rebuild Technician for Diffs performs teardown, inspection, cleaning, preparation, repair and assembly support for differential components and assemblies in a safety-conscious, quality-driven environment.

Working collaboratively with Team Leaders and production departments, you will follow established work instructions and contribute to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with automotive repairs preferred.
• Experience with SOPs, work instructions and quality systems preferred.
• Vocational/technical training in mechanical or industrial field a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily startup meetings and provide feedback on production challenges and safety.
• Perform pre-operational inspections of tools, equipment and workstations.
• Disassemble, prepare, and process remanufactured components per instructions.
• Verify unit identification, tags and documentation for accuracy and traceability.
• Utilize Dozuki and company devices to perform tasks per procedures.
• Follow standardized work processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain 5S and a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet productivity goals.
