Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Dietitian to develop and promote quality, evidence-based nutrition care for patients in acute and outpatient settings. The role supports facility and department initiatives and community health events.

The RD will implement the Nutrition Care Process, analyze patient data to inform care plans, provide nutrition counseling, and participate as a team member to improve patient outcomes within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience applying the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to develop and monitor nutrition interventions.
• Ability to analyze data to inform nutrition care plans and patient outcomes.
• Experience delivering nutrition education/counseling to patients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based medical nutrition therapy interventions.
• Obtain and interpret data to inform nutrition interventions and care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling as appropriate.
