Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or related field required.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist licensure within 60 days of starting position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nutrition Care Process to develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for patients as assigned.
• Obtains patient data, analyzes and interprets findings, develops care plans, and monitors outcomes.
• Provides nutrition education and counseling as appropriate.
• Actively participates as a health care team member in patient care.
• Adheres to Hackensack Meridian Health organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
