Job summary

Carroll Hospital in Westminster, MD, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a clinical nutrition professional to provide medical nutrition therapy and collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team. You will perform nutrition risk assessments, deliver education, and support department operations under provider orders and policy.

Requirements include a BS in Foods and Nutrition, completion of a dietetic internship, and RD/RDN credentials (LDN and RDN). Less than one year experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition or related field required.
• Completion of dietetic internship and successful passing of the RD/RDN exam.
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentials.

Responsibilities

• Performs nutrition risk assessments on identified patients.
• Provides medical nutrition therapy as ordered and educates patients.
• Supports the Food and Clinical Nutrition Department Teams and workflows.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition or related field

Position Summary

Provides quality clinical nutrition services by working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness. Provides medical nutrition therapy for all patients in accordance with providers orders, as well as hospital, and Clinical Nutrition Department policies.

$6,000 SIGN ON BONUS

• Performs assessments on all patients identified to be at nutrition risk per established policies and procedures.
• Provides nutrition education as identified.
• Provide support to the Food and Clinical Nutrition Department Teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
• Experience: Less than one year
• Education Discipline: Bachelor of Science Degree in Foods and Nutrition or related field. Completion of Dietetic internship. Successful passing of the registration examination for dietitians (RDN).
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN)
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

• Essential: Less than one year
• Pay Range: $31.94 to $47.91 Based On Experience
