Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field is required.
• Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist — current Maryland license or eligibility.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) designation is required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for patients per provider orders and department policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and speech-language pathologists as part of the care team.
• Develop expertise in nutrition support, discharge education, and nutrition-related care planning.

-Practice at the top of your license: Drive medical nutrition therapy decisions, manage enteral and parenteral nutrition, and serve as the nutrition expert on the care team.

-Sharpen high-impact skills: Build expertise in malnutrition diagnosis, nutrition support, motivational interviewing, and discharge education.

Summary

Provides quality clinical nutrition services by working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness. Provides medical nutrition therapy for all patients in accordance with providers orders, as well as hospital, and Clinical Nutrition Department policies.

Experience

Required:
* Less than one year

Education

Required:
* Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field

Licensures & Certifications

Required:
* Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
* Registered Dietician

Pay Range: $31.00 to $47.91 Based On Experience
