Job summary

Sinai Hospital's Clinical Nutrition team within LifeBridge Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to deliver full-scope clinical nutrition care in a patient-centered hospital setting.

Whether you are a new RDN or pursuing specialty certification, you will drive medical nutrition therapy decisions, lead nutrition care for diverse patient populations, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and speech-language pathologists to optimize outcomes.

• Practice at the top of your license: drive medical nutrition therapy decisions, manage nutrition support, and serve as the nutrition expert on the care team.
• Own complex cases: lead nutrition care for medical-surgical, ICU, cardiac, orthopedic, behavioral health, rehabilitative, and palliative care patients.
• Collaborate as a respected interdisciplinary partner among physicians, intensivists, nurses, pharmacists, and speech-language pathologists.
• Sharpen high-impact skills: nutrition assessment, malnutrition diagnosis, discharge education, and motivational interviewing.

• Own complex cases: Lead nutrition care for medical-surgical, ICU, cardiac, orthopedic, behavioral health, rehabilitative, and palliative care patients across the hospital.


• Respected interdisciplinary partner: Collaborate as a recognized expert alongside physicians, intensivists, nurses, pharmacists, and speech-language pathologists.


• Sharpen high-impact skills: Build expertise in malnutrition diagnosis, nutrition support, motivational interviewing, and discharge education.

Summary

Provides quality clinical nutrition services by working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness. Provides medical nutrition therapy for all patients in accordance with providers orders, as well as hospital, and Clinical Nutrition Department policies.

Experience

Essential:

• Less than one year

Pay Range: $31.00 to $47.91 Based On Experience
