Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide age-appropriate food and nutritional care under supervision. You’ll work in a 184-bed acute care setting in Palmdale, CA, supporting physicians and the dietitian to deliver high-quality patient nutrition services.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition, RD certification, and state sanitation certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Two or more years experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State certification in Food Service Sanitation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and nutritional care appropriate for all ages as prescribed by physicians.
• Under the direct supervision of the dietitian, assist with age-appropriate food items.
• Support nutrition services and patient care aligned with medical plans.

Position Description

To provide food and nutritional care appropriate for all ages including infant, toddlers, pre-school, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as prescribed by physicians and under the direct supervision of the dietitian for age appropriate food items. Sign-On Bonus Available!

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Two or more years experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.
• Completion of all academic and supervised practice requirements as set forth by the American Dietetic Association (ADA) with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a dietitian (RD), and any certifications as may be required by the state.
• Maintains Certification in Food Service Sanitation by the Department of Health.
