Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is hiring a Dietitian to provide age-appropriate nutritional care under supervision. The position emphasizes patient-centered meal planning and clinical support across age groups, with a sign-on bonus available.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and nutritional care appropriate for all ages as prescribed by physicians and supervised by the dietitian.
• Assist with age-appropriate menu items and patient education per physician orders.
• Support department with compliance and quality standards.

Position Description

To provide food and nutritional care appropriate for all ages including infant, toddlers, pre-school, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as prescribed by physicians and under the direct supervision of the dietitian for age appropriate food items. Sign-On Bonus Available!

Qualifications

Requirements

• Two or more years experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.


• Completion of all academic and supervised practice requirements as set forth by the American Dietetic Association (ADA) with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.


• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a dietitian (RD), and any certifications as may be required by the state.


• Maintains Certification in Food Service Sanitation by the Department of Health.
