Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital seeks a Clinical Dietitian to perform nutrition screening, assessment and provide nutrition care and education to a wide patient age range from neonatal to geriatric.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nutrition or dietetics from an accredited institution.
• Washington Dietitian Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Washington Nutritionist Certification within 6 months of hire.
• National CDR Registered Dietitian status at hire.
• Completion of AND-accredited dietetic internship or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Job description

Under the general direction of Manager, Clinical Nutrition, the Clinical Dietitian remains responsible for nutrition screening, assessment, and providing nutrition care and education to patients. Ages of customers: Neonatal to geriatric.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree A Major related to human nutrition or dietetics, from an accredited educational institution.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification. Or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian – Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Completion of a dietetic internship or equivalent experience accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).

Preferred Qualifications

• Upon hire: Board‑certified specialist in renal, pediatric, oncology, or gerontological nutrition, CDE, or CNSC
• Healthcare clinical experience.
