Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to perform nutrition screening, assessment, and ongoing care for patients from neonatal to geriatric ages.

You will collaborate with the care team to deliver education and nutrition plans aligned with the hospital's mission and patient-centered care. Required qualifications include a nutrition/dietetics degree, Washington RD/Nutritionist certifications within 6 months, and CDR RD credential, plus an AND-accredited internship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nutrition or dietetics from an accredited program.
• Within 6 months of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification.
• Within 6 months of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification.
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian (RD).
• Completion of AND-accredited dietetic internship or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of Manager, Clinical Nutrition, the Clinical Dietitian remains responsible for nutrition screening, assessment, and providing nutrition care and education to patients. Ages of customers: Neonatal to geriatric.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree A Major related to human nutrition or dietetics, from an accredited educational institution.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification. Or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian – Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Completion of a dietetic internship or equivalent experience accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Board‑certified specialist in renal, pediatric, oncology, or gerontological nutrition, CDE, or CNSC
• Healthcare clinical experience.
