Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a registered dietitian to provide nutritional consultation to cancer patients across the continuum of care, including prevention, treatment, recurrence, and palliative care.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics, 3 years of clinical acute care experience (preferred), and RD licensure with Georgia licensure upon hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field from an AND-accredited program is required.
• 3 years of clinical experience in acute care with nutrition support is preferred.
• Experience in oncology nutrition counseling is preferred.
• RD licensure and Georgia licensure as a Dietitian are required upon hire.

Responsibilities

This position provides nutritional consultation to cancer patients across the continuum of the cancer experience including primary prevention, cancer treatment, secondary prevention, cancer recurrence and palliative care.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field of study from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) accredited program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of clinical experience working in acute care with nutrition support, specifically enteral nutrition Preferred
• Work experience in oncology/cancer nutrition counseling Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RD - Registered Dietician Registered Dietitian-Commission on Dietetic Registration Upon Hire Required
• RD - Registered Dietician Current Licensure in the State of Georgia as a Dietitian Upon Hire Required
