Job summary

Piedmont is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide specialized nutritional care for cancer patients across the continuum, from prevention through palliative care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in Georgia facilities to implement evidence-based nutrition plans for patients and families.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in nutrition/dietetics from an AND-accredited program, 3 years of acute care nutrition experience, and Georgia licensure as a Dietitian;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field from an AND-accredited program.
• 3 years of clinical experience in acute care with nutrition support.
• Experience in oncology nutrition counseling preferred.

Responsibilities

This position provides nutritional consultation to cancer patients across the continuum of the cancer experience including primary prevention, cancer treatment, secondary prevention, cancer recurrence and palliative care.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field of study from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) accredited program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of clinical experience working in acute care with nutrition support, specifically enteral nutrition Preferred
• Work experience in oncology/cancer nutrition counseling Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RD - Registered Dietician Registered Dietitian-Commission on Dietetic Registration Upon Hire Required
• RD - Registered Dietician Current Licensure in the State of Georgia as a Dietitian Upon Hire Required
