Job summary
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Dietitian to provide nutritional consultation to cancer patients. The role involves significant interaction with patients across various stages of their cancer experience, including prevention, treatment, and palliative care.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in nutrition, three years of clinical experience, and current licensure in Georgia. Workdays are Monday through Friday, between our two hospitals.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in nutrition from an accredited program is required.
- 3 years of clinical experience in acute care with nutrition support is preferred.
- Current licensure in Georgia as a Dietitian is required.

Job description
This position will be Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm floating in person between our two nearby hospitals at Piedmont Newton and Piedmont Rockdale.
This position provides nutritional consultation to cancer patients across the continuum of the cancer experience including primary prevention, cancer treatment, secondary prevention, cancer recurrence and palliative care.
- Bachelors Degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field of study from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) accredited program Required
- 3 years of clinical experience working in acute care with nutrition support, specifically enteral nutrition Preferred
- Work experience in oncology/cancer nutrition counseling Preferred
- RD - Registered Dietician Registered Dietitian-Commission on Dietetic Registration Upon Hire Required
- RD - Registered Dietician Current Licensure in the State of Georgia as a Dietitian Upon Hire Required
