Job summary

Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in Columbus seeks a Dietitian/Nutritionist Supervisor to plan and oversee food service and nutrition programs at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital.

Under broad supervision, this role provides nutrition assessment, education and counseling to individuals or groups, serves as a resource to nurses and clinicians, and leads a nutrition team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; or Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower-level Behavioral Health Counselor 1, Licensed (HCP220).
• All positions require applicable licensure or certification.

Ability to provide nutrition assessments, education, and counseling to individuals withbehavior health issues

2-3 years clinical experience

Licensed in the State of Georgia OR with the understanding with the offer of employment, will have to get their Georgia License.
