Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Dietitian to serve as a Facility Program Coordinator for the MOVE Weight Management Program at the Columbia VA Health Care System and Community Based Outpatient (CBOCs).

The role includes leading a multidisciplinary team, advising on policy and program development, and delivering nutrition therapy within clinical privileges. The position emphasizes leadership, staff development, and coordination with national, state, and local stakeholders;

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team as Facility Program Coordinator.
• Administrative responsibility for a specialty program; provide leadership, guidance and direction.
• Oversee program, policy and procedure development; set goals and monitor progress.
• Perform data collection and analysis for research or quality improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain training and reference materials.
• Coordinate with the team to meet local goals and report to stakeholders.
• Provide direct patient care via comprehensive nutrition therapy within scope.
• Advise on program and fiscal management and resource needs.
